will the romance never die?!

This weekend, Scott and I Biore Stripped each other. Aren't we cute?
This is the gunk from someone's nose. I won't tell you whose, because I can imagine that the documentation of one's comedos on the interwebs is not a pleasant thing. (Regarding that shiznit of a word I just casually employed...yeah, I had to look it up the first time I saw it too. Don't be ashamed. I mean, if anything, you should be ashamed that at the time, I was reading a Kafka novel, and you are currently reading a totally low-brow blog. Then again, I write a low-brow blog, publicly, and you're only the anonymous reader. So now I don't know who should be more ashamed. I'm going to say you.) But yeah, this strip is the gunkiest I've ever seen. Srsly.

sometimes on the T...

Sometimes on the T, people wear floppy orange hats. Sometimes they get really sleepy. Sometimes they hunch over in their seats and just take a little cat nap right then and there.

Sometimes on the T, people wear immodestly low-cut v-neck t-shirts. Sometimes they reveal their pasty white, shaven chests.
Sometimes on the T, people abandon piles of clothes. Sometimes people get off the T naked???
Ahh, la vie boheme.

cassettes

Last weekend I was walking through the parking lot of the Dorchester Target (yes, I know there's a Target in Somerville, but I prefer to commune with my people in a lower-income area) and I discovered a treasure laying on the ground. It was a cassette tape of Vietnamese music that had been discarded by a fellow shopper. At first, I passed it by, but then I thought to myself, "No. No, go back and get that. Scott needs it."

So I walked back (WALKED BACK - YES) and picked it up off the ground, and wrapped it in a piece of paper (it was kind of coated in nail polish that seemed still a little wet) and stuck it in my purse. Then I carefully put it in a safe place when I got home and waited for him to get back from the Bahamas so I could give it to him. I cared for it for a WEEK - over a week actually! - and even MOVED it with me to my new apartment, all the while making sure that it was not lost or damaged.

I gave it to him last night. This is the reaction I expected:

This is closer to what I got:

COME ON!
